LightSheer® DUET™ uses vacuum-assist technology to stretch the dermis layer of skin, allowing targeted hair follicles to be better reached by the energy source. This stops hair growth faster and more effectively. Adding suction to the hair removal process enables the laser to penetrate deeper to stop future growth. The increased efficacy and dramatically larger spot size means fewer treatments at lower costs.
With its new technology, LightSheer® DUET™ is ending major criticism that laser hair removal has not been effective for darker skin tones. As the machine gently stretches the skin, the skin's pigmentation is spread over a larger surface area, now making it possible to treat all patients, regardless of skin color.
